VLC 1.1.0 removes SHOUTcast support
VideoLAN is sad to announce that, starting from VLC 1.1.0, the SHOUTcast module is not available on the distributed VLC any longer, because AOL Corporation is hindering Open Source Software.AOL wants to force VLC to be relicensed to close-source and shipped with an adware software from them.You can find more information.
